Jazz Ballet

I was stumbled on my friend's timeline on twitter talking about free dance class at United Dance Works. There was a chance to learn some basics of jazz ballet. I was always curious about it. Though i'm too old to start ballet, but this jazz ballet could be a bright opportunity for stiff-muscled adults like me. Also, by learning jazz ballet, i could develop my techniques in waltz, espescially in arabesque posture. Shortly, i went to the studio with Riri & Diaz. The place is cool and comfy. In one and half hour, we were given an introductory aaannddd.... choreography! It was difficult indeed, my thighs stuttered, the rythm was so fast and i couldn't catch the steps. The music they played was a hip-hop tune, it sounds peculiar to my ears. I was the lamest amongst the others but i feel contented. Yes, it was a great experience to give myself a try.
